For personal trainers
A digital business card for personal trainers
Trainers get asked for their details in the middle of a workout, in a studio, by someone out of breath. The answer has to take five seconds and survive a change of gym.
Your details are spread across five places
A trainer typically has a gym profile, an Instagram account, a booking link and a phone number, and the person asking wants one of them, not all of them. Reading a handle aloud on a gym floor goes wrong, and trainers move between gyms often enough that a printed card quickly names a place you no longer work.
On the gym floor, between sets
Someone watches a session and asks if you take clients. You hold up your phone with the code on the screen, or they scan the one on your gym bag or the studio noticeboard. Your card opens with your number, your booking link and your socials, and they can leave their details if they would rather you got in touch.
What it does for personal trainers
One link instead of five
The card holds your phone, email, social links and a link to wherever you take bookings. You hand over one thing and the person picks what they want.
Move gyms without starting again
Change your employer or location in the editor. The code on your bag, your clothing or a noticeboard stays valid.
Let interested people come to you
Someone not ready to book can leave their name and a message. It arrives by email, with their address as the reply, so the follow up is yours to time.
See which spot works
Scan counts show whether a code on a noticeboard, a bag or a flyer is producing any interest at all.
Questions personal trainers ask
- Do I need a website?
- No. The card is a single page with your details, links and optional form. If you already have a booking page elsewhere, link to it from the card.
- Can I put the code on my kit?
- You can print it on a sticker, a card, a bag tag or a poster. Keep it a reasonable size on fabric, because curved or stretched surfaces are harder for phones to read.
- What if my gym already gives me a profile page?
- Keep it and link to it. The gym page may disappear when you leave, while your own card follows you.
