For insurance agents

A digital business card for insurance agents

Nobody needs an insurance agent on the day they get your card. They need you eighteen months later, at the worst moment, and your number has to be right then.

The card is used once, years after you hand it over

A policyholder looks for an agent after a car accident or a burst pipe, not at the meeting where they bought. By then the card is in a drawer or a coat pocket, and if you have changed agency, number or licence details in the meantime, the details on it are wrong when it matters most.

At the policy meeting and the referral

Share the card at the end of the appointment so the contact file is in their phone while you are still in the room. Clients also forward a card to a friend who asks who they use, and a link travels through a messaging app far more easily than a photographed paper card.

What it does for insurance agents

1

Stays correct for the life of the policy

Change your agency, direct line or office address and everyone who saved your card gets the update, however long ago they saved it.

2

A referral is one forwarded link

When a client recommends you, they send your card page to a friend. The friend can save you or send their details back, with no app and no photographing of a paper card.

3

Take an enquiry without a call

Turn on the form with a message field so a prospect can describe what they want covered. It arrives by email and you reply from your inbox.

4

Know if it is being opened

View and scan counts show whether the card in a client pack or on a brochure is actually being used.

Questions insurance agents ask

Should I ask for policy details on the form?
No. Keep the form to a name, a way to reach them and a short message. Sensitive personal or financial details do not belong in an enquiry form, and your own rules on collecting them still apply once you speak.
Does the card show my licence number?
You write the card, so you can include whatever your jurisdiction expects an agent to display. The product does not add or verify licence details for you.
Can I use one card for a whole agency?
Each person can have their own card, which is usually better for insurance because clients want their agent. A shared agency card works for the office line and reception.
