For lawyers
A digital business card for lawyers
Legal cards carry a lot of formal detail: firm name, titles, offices, direct lines. Every one of those can change, and a wrong detail on a legal card looks careless.
Firms merge, titles change, and the cards do not
Partnership changes, mergers, new offices and promotions all alter what should be printed on your card. A firm that reprints for the whole building at each change spends heavily, and an individual who does not ends up giving out stale details to people who may be about to instruct them.
At the conference and the introduction
Introductions between professionals drive a great deal of legal work. At a conference or a referral lunch you want the other person to leave with correct details and a way back to you, and a card that opens a clean page does that without them keying in a long direct line.
What it does for lawyers
Titles and firm names stay current
Edit your title, firm, address and direct line as they change. Everyone who saved your card sees the update.
A callback request, not a case file
The form takes a name, a way to reach them and an optional short message. Ask people not to put confidential details in it, and reply from your inbox to take it further.
Referrals travel as a link
A colleague who recommends you can send your card page in a message. The recipient saves it directly.
Exportable and under your control
Contacts that come in can be exported as a CSV or posted to your practice system by webhook, so they do not sit in a tool you cannot audit.
Questions lawyers ask
- Is a web form appropriate for legal enquiries?
- Only for the first step. Use it for a name, contact route and a one line message, and say on the card that confidential information should wait for a conversation. Check your own professional conduct rules on how enquiries are handled.
- Can the card include required regulatory wording?
- You write the card text, so you can include what your jurisdiction expects. The product does not supply or verify that wording.
- Does the card suit senior partners who prefer paper?
- Both work together. Print a plain paper card with the code on it, and the paper card never goes out of date because the code points at the editable page.
