A business card that stays current
Printed cards go out of date the moment anything about you changes. This one does not, because you edit it instead of reprinting it.
Why it exists
This started inside another product. We build QRForever, a dynamic QR code platform, and kept noticing the same thing in its search data: people were arriving after searching for “vcard qr code” and “digital business card qr code”. They were not looking for a QR tool. They were looking for a business card.
They would land on a page about QR codes, find a feature rather than a product, and leave. Over ninety days, dozens of those searches, and almost nobody clicking through. The demand was real and the answer we were giving was the wrong shape.
A paper business card is a snapshot. It records where you worked and what your number was on the day it was printed, and it keeps saying that long after both have changed. The person holding it has no way of knowing it is out of date. The fix is not a nicer card, it is a card whose details live on a page, so the link and the printed code keep working while what they point at changes.
The second half matters as much as the first. A card you hand over is one directional: you give your details and hope. This one lets the other person send theirs back, which is the part that turns a conversation into a contact you still have next month.
What it does today
- One card, shared by a short link or a QR code, that you edit at any time.
- Everyone who already has the card sees the change, including people who saved it months ago.
- A contact file download, so your details land in a phone address book in one tap.
- A form on the card, so the person scanning can send their details back to you.
- Each contact emailed to you with their address as the reply address, and posted to your CRM if you want it there.
- Scan and view counts, so you can tell whether a printed code is being used.
What it does not do yet
Worth knowing before you decide, rather than after.
- No native integrations. Contacts reach a CRM through a webhook that Zapier, Make and n8n accept.
- No physical NFC cards. The QR code and the link do the same job without inventory.
- No team administration console yet. It is built for one person with one card today.
