Classic

Classic is the one to choose when you do not want the card to have an opinion. The cover is graphite rather than a colour, which is the only ground that cannot clash with a brand colour you have not decided on yet, or with a photograph you did not take for this purpose.

Who it suits

• Anyone whose logo already carries a strong colour
• Consultants and freelancers with no fixed brand palette
• A first card, before you know what you want
• Photos with busy or coloured backgrounds

What to pair with it

A straightforward headshot. Graphite flatters almost any photograph because it adds no cast of its own, so a phone picture in daylight is enough.

When to pick something else

You already have a brand colour you are confident about. Neutral is the safe answer to a question you have not answered yet; if you have answered it, use Bold or Electric and let the colour do the work.
